Your OB/GYN, midwife or delivery provider must send a referral to AMFM for consultation. You can also self-refer for pre-conception consultation visits.

No. A new patient appointment takes about 2 hours to complete if ultrasound is performed. AMFM needs extensive patient history, medical records and referral from the patient’s primary OB/GYN team to schedule. Urgent add-on appointments, when requested by referring practitioner, are available on a case-by-case basis.
AMFM has an answering service that can respond to emergency calls after hours.

- Do not provide amniocentesis for paternity testing
- Do not provide delivery services (your primary OB/GYN team will perform labor and delivery management) but will work closely with the team who referred you to co-manage high-risk pregnancies and make recommendations about delivery mode/timing and monitoring for complications.
