Patient Information

As a maternal-fetal medicine subspecialty practice, we work closely with your primary OB/GYN team and other medical providers to ensure you receive the most coordinated and appropriate care. A referral is typically required for appointments, so we encourage you to speak with your provider if you believe our services may benefit you or your family.

Dr. Muller and her staff review all referrals to determine the best type and timing of evaluation for your specific needs.

To help us prepare for your visit, we may need additional information from your referring provider. In some cases, our team may reach out to you directly for details or to request prior medical records relevant to your care. Your appointment may be scheduled once the necessary information has been received to ensure your visit is as meaningful and complete as possible.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

Pregnant Patients
(Ultrasound & Consultation)

If you are pregnant and referred for both ultrasound and consultation, please plan for your initial appointment to last approximately 2 hours. During this time, we will review your medical history, perform an ultrasound, and, if needed, provide genetic counseling along with a consultation with Dr. Muller.

Pre-Conception Patients
(Non-Pregnant)

If you are attending a pre-conception consultation, your appointment will typically last about 1 hour. We will review relevant medical history and records, and provide personalized recommendations for future pregnancy planning.
