Biophysical Profile (BPP)
A third-trimester ultrasound that assesses fetal movement, muscle tone, breathing motions, and amniotic fluid levels to monitor current fetal health.
Non-Stress Test (NST)
A monitoring test that evaluates the fetal heart rate pattern in relation to movement and uterine activity. Often recommended in the third trimester, this test helps assess fetal wellbeing and may be repeated weekly or biweekly depending on your care plan and identified risk-factors in pregnancy.
