Your OB/GYN, midwife or delivery provider must send a referral to AMFM for consultation. You can also self-refer for pre-conception consultation visits.

If there are multiple cancellations/no-shows, the physician may choose to not reschedule a consultation visit.
If there is non-compliance with medical recommendations, the patient may also be dismissed from the practice. -

No. A new patient appointment takes about 2 hours to complete if ultrasound is performed. AMFM needs extensive patient history, medical records and referral from the patient’s primary OB/GYN team to schedule. Urgent add-on appointments, when requested by referring practitioner, are available on a case-by-case basis.

We do not provide amniocentesis for paternity testing, do not perform deliveries (consultation for high-risk pregnancy only). We work with your OB/GYN team who referred you to co-manage high-risk pregnancies and make recommendations about delivery mode/timing and monitoring for complications.
